Reggie Glover (Baritone)

Reggie started playing brass instruments when he was 16 (1966), initially playing cornet. He was a member of Pakenham Silver Band for over 13 years before joining Hillsborough Silver Band where he changed instruments to solo horn and later flugelhorn. He finally graduated onto Eb bass and stayed on bass during amalgamation with Reid Memorial later named Downshire Brass. A number of years ago he switched to Eb horn before joining the baritone section in the band.

Reggie first registered with the NIBA on 26 August 1966 and will have played in brass bands for over 57 years this year (2023). He still enjoys playing and hopes to continue for many years to come.
