.2nd Place (Championship Section) at the BBL Entertainment Contest in Fivemiletown.  Prize for the most entertaining band.

Champions (2nd Section) at the NIBA Championship of Ireland at Market Place Theatre, Armagh. Also awarded the Jean Savage Memorial Trophy for Best Cornet Section and the Herron Memorial Trophy for Winning Conductor.

Third Place (1st Section) at Land O Burns contest in Troon, Scotland (Ranked 9th Overall). Bass Trombonist Paul Wilson awarded Best Instrumentalist Prize.

Contested in the North of England Brass Band Contest in Buxton in May and although not being placed, nevertheless this was found to be a very rewarding experience.


1995

Awarded the Haughton Cup for Band Of The Year for the1994/5 contesting period. This was based on the successes in the NIBA and BBL Contests together with those results achieved at the Annual Solos & Quartets Competitions across all Brass Sections within the Northern Ireland Bands scene. This achievement was due in no small way to the efforts of the Junior Band.
