The band is delighted to be bringing some outdoor Christmas cheer with a programme which includes both seasonal and upbeat tunes to help you through your Christmas shopping safari! Look out for us with a full brass band in the city centre.
After a number of hugely popular carol services at Killowen Parish Church in Coleraine in recent years, we are bringing the whole brass band to the town to kick-off the festive season.
Nothing says Christmas more than the sound of a brass band with an upbeat and crowd-pleasing programme. We are also delighted to be teaming-up with local choir, "Coastal Vocals" to bring you some additional cheer.

Downshire Brass will be joining the congregation of Malone Presbyterian Church for their Annual Service of Remembrance.
Join us for a brilliant night where you can test you knowledge on a range of topics from sport and general knowledge to history and geography. Tickets just £5 per head. Pay at the door. The annual North of Ireland Band Association competition which features bands in all sections including Youth Bands. Downshire Brass are looking forward to participating in the contest.

The Band will be kick-starting the 2024 Antrim Half Marathon with a celebratory performance at the start hub at Sandy Bay, Larne. join us from 9.15am - 10.30am for a performance to mark the beginning of the race.

The band will be taking part in a band performance in Ormeau park along with Wellington Memorial Silver Band and Ballylone Concert Flute Band. Downshire anticipate playing from 4.10pm onwards. Please do join us.
A small ensemble from the band is delighted to support the very popular Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market. Set against the tree-lined "The Dark Walk" and Hillsborough Fort, it makes a lovely day out, especially when combined with a browse of the eclectic mix of independent shops and eateries in the village.
Drop by and have a listen and enjoy what’s on offer at over 50 stalls of the finest local and seasonal farm-to-market produce and artisan food.

Sundays on the Maritime Mile are back offering free music performances running from 12 noon to 5pm the last Sunday of the month until August, popping up at various locations along Belfast’s waterfront. Downshire Brass is delighted to be playing at the Abercorn Basin from 2pm. Do join us.
We are delighted to support this fundraising event in support of the Downpatrick and County Down Railway, Ireland's only full-size heritage railway. DCDR was severely impacted by the floods in Downpatrick in November 2023.
We will be joined by Several local music groups St Patrick's Choral Society, Down Community Youth Choir, Ballygowan Concert Flute Band, and the Quoile Area WI Choir.
